| I began sailing at the age of 5 and have
had a successful career in yacht racing in dinghies, keelboats and
windsurfing. This culminated in winning the Laser Masters World Championships
in Ireland and again in Turkey. I have represented both South Africa
(1980, 1982) and Australia (1994) at the Laser World Championships
